Aha Toro is made in the small village of the Jesus Maria in Jalisco of Destilados Olé. The center of the distillery is the hacienda "El Olvido", where Tequila has been produced for almost a century in traditional way. The agaves for Aha Toro come from fields in the highlands at an altitude of 1800 to 2000 meters. In the production, value is attached to the tradition: until today, the typical stone mill wheel, the Tahona, is still used to obtain the agave juice. After careful distillation in copper pot stills, Aha Toro is stored in the former Jack Daniel's American White Oak barrels with a capacity of only 200 liters. An Añejo is stored for 2 years in the former Jack Daniel's white oak barrels.
This reposado matures for 9 months in former Jack Daniel's white oak barrels.
