The Herzog recommends the brand Cuaba:
"There is a "masterpiece" among the Cuban cigars: The Doppelfigurado is the format that is the hardest to produce. Only experienced and very skilled hands succeed in making it. The format was the most popular at the beginning of the last century (which is why cigar cutters from that time have only very small cutting openings). Gradually, conical shapes, especially the corona and then the robusto, gained the upper hand. The Doppelfigurado would have been extinct at around 1990, had Cuba not thrown around the rudder and rounded up the role of gutters and scooters that are still dominating that particular rolling technique. Since 1996, there is at least once again a Cuban brand, which offers only Doppelfigurados in different sizes: the "Cuaba". I recommend the smallest, it's called "Divino". It's truly "divine," especially with an espresso."
