The Coruba 18 years is a rum made by Wray & Nephew (Jamaica). For this rum, only selected barrels are suitable for the process of maturation to proceed optimally. Then it has to spend at least eighteen years in these oak barrels, enough time to develop a very special, extraordinary aroma. Due to the unusually long storage, even the finest notes of the wood are absorbed and the taste of the Coruba is particularly intense. This is further promoted by very small barrels, as the surface of the rum touches the wood directly. The Coruba 18YO is made from molasses.
